Evoluz has reached a strategic agreement with Bamboo Energy—a Spanish company specializing in technology for the energy sector—to strengthen its balancing markets and demand response services.
The partnership will enable Bamboo Energy's technology to be integrated into Evoluz's operations, strengthening its ability to automate processes, analyze consumption patterns, and facilitate its customers' participation in these markets.
Evoluz’s focus on demand flexibility allows certain companies to adjust a portion of their electricity consumption on an ad hoc basis—without disrupting their normal operations—to meet specific needs of the power grid. This model opens up a new avenue for companies with significant electricity consumption to derive value from their own energy demand while contributing to the operation of the energy system.
“Evoluz is taking a new step forward in its growth strategy and strengthening its position as an energy partner for the business and industrial sectors.”
In the words of Abel Martín, CEO and founder of Evoluz, “demand flexibility represents a significant opportunity for companies with high electricity consumption, as it allows them to derive value from a portion of their consumption that was previously viewed solely as a cost.”
With this agreement, Martín noted that “Evoluz is taking a new step forward in its growth strategy and strengthening its position as an energy partner for the business and industrial sectors.” The company is thus consolidating a model based on efficiency, consumption monitoring, supply optimization, and access to mechanisms that enable energy management to become an additional source of competitiveness for businesses.
