Evoluz held a working meeting at the Congress of Deputies with Juan Diego Requena Ruiz, the Partido Popular national coordinator for Energy and Sustainability, through a delegation led by Abel Martín, the company’s CEO and founder. The meeting addressed the role of businesses in the energy transition, as well as the major challenges facing Spanish companies in today’s highly complex environment.
During the meeting, Evoluz shared its perspective on the impact of energy management on the business community, emphasizing the need to move toward models based on efficiency, consumption optimization, and smart demand management. The company highlighted the role of energy as a key driver of business competitiveness.
He also conveyed to the Partido Popular the importance of providing companies with tools that enable them to anticipate volatile situations —such as those experienced with the outbreak of war in Ukraine or the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz— in order to strengthen their position in the global market.
“energy has established itself as one of the key factors that will determine the competitiveness of the Spanish economy in the coming years.”
The company has outlined the details of its strategic initiative —a first of its kind in the country— designed to enable businesses, industries, and sectors to implement energy-efficiency tools without the need for capital or infrastructure investments. This model also relies on the use of cutting-edge technology for real-time data analysis and monitoring, allowing organizations to turn energy consumption into a manageable factor.
In Martín’s words, “energy has established itself as one of the key factors that will determine the competitiveness of the Spanish economy in the coming years.” “Our companies’ ability to manage this factor will make all the difference in terms of economic growth, sustainability, and international standing,” he noted.
