On July 20, Evoluz held a working meeting with Alipio García Rodríguez, Director General of Energy Transition for the Government of Castilla-La Mancha, to analyze the main challenges associated with energy efficiency and explore possible avenues for collaboration aimed at strengthening the competitiveness of Castilla-La Mancha’s business sector.
During the meeting, held at the headquarters of the Department of Sustainable Development, both parties shared their views on the need to move toward management models that enable companies to better understand their consumption patterns, contain their operating costs, and make energy a strategic factor in their decision-making processes.
Through its CEO and founder, Abel Martín, Evoluz presented its unique self-funded investment model, through which it undertakes the necessary actions to modernize and optimize its clients’ energy infrastructure. This approach allows companies to implement improvements without diverting resources from their core business and links the investment to achieving verifiable, long-term savings.
“Castilla-La Mancha has a business and industrial sector with enormous potential, and we want to put our knowledge, our technology, and our investment capacity at its service.”
“Energy efficiency should no longer be viewed solely as a cost-saving tool, but rather as a strategic decision that directly impacts the productivity and competitiveness of businesses. Castilla-La Mancha has a business and industrial sector with enormous potential, and we want to put our knowledge, our technology, and our investment capacity at its service,” Martín stated.
For his part, the director general identified energy efficiency as one of the regional government’s priorities and expressed his interest in promoting initiatives that help strengthen it within the business sector, with the aim of boosting Castilla-La Mancha’s competitiveness.
Among the topics discussed at the meeting were consumption optimization, the implementation of artificial intelligence-based solutions, demand flexibility, and the design of specific strategies for large-scale infrastructure and data centers.
The meeting represents a first step toward identifying areas for collaboration that will help spread a culture of energy efficiency among the region’s companies and enable them to protect their profit margins, improve their planning, and make steady progress toward their sustainability goals.
